Abusia Radio Player: Your New Home for 24/7 Soulful Dance Music AbusiaRadio.com
Before the algorithms, before the club charts and curated playlists, there was something raw and real: a beat, a basement, a body in motion. This is where house music was born—not in boardrooms or press releases, but in sweat, spirit, and soul.
Abusia Backtrack is our love letter to the culture that raised us. It’s a preservation project, an educational journey, and a tribute to the Black, brown, queer, and working-class communities that turned sound into salvation.
This isn’t nostalgia. It’s archaeology. It’s cultural reclamation.
House music isn’t just music—it’s a movement. One forged in Chicago lofts, Newark lounges, Detroit basements, and Brooklyn block parties. It’s the sound of resistance wrapped in rhythm. It’s gospel, soul, funk, and disco remixed into joy. It is healing through repetition. It’s community through vibration.
But too much of its history has been told through the wrong lens—or not told at all.
We’re here to change that.
Each chapter of Abusia Backtrack explores a piece of house music’s DNA: the clubs, the dancers, the sound systems, the DJs, the forgotten anthems, the global evolution. Some stories are sacred. Some are shadowed. All are essential.
This isn’t a lecture. It’s a celebration.
Expect quotes from legends. Memories from dancers. Images from dancefloors long shuttered. And always—always—a groove running underneath it all.
Because we’re built on this foundation.
Abusia Radio was created to keep the soul in the sound. Our station plays deep, soulful, afro, and classic house because we know those aren’t just genres—they’re archives. They’re testimony.
We believe in honoring the roots while embracing the now. In building a future that knows its past. And in giving flowers while they can still be felt.
“This isn’t just history. It’s family. It’s frequency. It’s freedom.”
This is Chapter One.
Let’s backtrack, together.
Abusia Radio. We play music for your soul.
